New homes are often riddled with defects, or snags as they are known. This generally causes disappointment and frustration to homebuyers, most don't expect any problems and it can take real determination in getting developers back to carry out the necessary work.
During inspection, our staff work through a detailed checklist, identifying any and all snags that they may encounter.
We are an independent company offering an independant inspection, we do not work for any developer or real estate agent, so rest assured we can deliver a snag list, whilst representing your best interests without compromise.
A Snag List is a fully comprehensive list of items that a builder has not completed in appliance with building regulations standard.
We physically visit the property, check all areas carefully and make a list of all areas that have not been completed, and/or are not in accordance with the plans and the Developer specification. We prepare a written and photographic report of all defects forwarding a copy to the client and a translated copy for the developer, giving 7-14 day depending on condition for repairs.The snag list ensures that the builder carries out his obligations to you by completing the house properly.
